MY BRAVE SAD DAYS

Journaling for Young Hearts Finding Their Way

Life has bright days, brave days, and days that feel hard.
This space is here for all of them.

Welcome

Through journaling, you can grow in emotional awareness, build confidence, and deepen your self understanding.

Here, you are invited to explore what you are feeling, think more clearly, and navigate life’s ups and downs with courage and kindness.

Who is My Brave Sad Days for?

  • For young hearts finding their way.

  • For those who feel deeply or carry more inside than they show.

  • For anyone navigating change, strong feelings, identity, loss, pressure, and growth.

  • For anyone standing at a new beginning, learning who they are and who they are not.

  • For anyone who wants to understand themselves more clearly and meet life with courage and kindness.

  • For any adults supporting a young heart finding their way.

Journaling, your way

You do not have to sound wise or be calm, neat, or impressive. Your journal is not assessing your performance or measuring your worth.

It asks only for presence, inner connection, and honesty, whatever that looks like for you.

Where to begin

Start with a notebook and a pen.

Any notebook will do. It doesn’t matter what it looks like on the outside.

Choose a pen that feels comfortable in your hand, with ink that flows easily across the page.

From there, you can explore the different paths found here. Posts & Prompts, or journaling styles — follow what speaks to you.

Over time, journaling can help you

  • Trust your inner voice — learn to recognise what feels true for you

  • Find balance — understand your thoughts, energy, and emotions

  • Build confidence — recognise your strengths and move through the world in your own way

  • Reconnect — pay attention to your feelings and the hidden depth in ordinary days

This work is informed by Ayurvedic psychology, which understands clarity as something that emerges when experience is fully processed.

Through journaling, you begin to process what you are thinking and feeling rather than carrying it unexamined.

Over time, this lightens the load, creating more clarity, balance, and joy.

What are Journaling Prompts?

Think of journaling prompts as friendly guides. They ask you questions or give you ideas to help your words start flowing — and to help you discover more about yourself.

  • Sometimes when you sit down with a notebook, your mind goes blank. You want to write, but you’re not sure what to say. That’s where journaling prompts come in.

A prompt is a spark—an idea, a question, or a challenge—that helps you begin. Prompts get you started by pointing you in a direction, and inspiring you to write.

Prompts are not rules — you don’t have to follow them exactly. They’re invitations to explore your feelings, relationships, experiences, and thoughts.

There are no wrong answers. Your journal is your space, and prompts are just ideas, the real wisdom is already inside you.
