Mindful Writing

Journaling Prompts:

  • What can you see, hear, or smell right now? Write or draw it.

  • Take three deep breaths. How does your body feel?

  • What is one small thing you notice today that you usually overlook?

  • How does your body feel as you sit quietly for a minute?

  • Write about something in nature you notice today—a cloud, a leaf, a sound.

  • What is one feeling you have right now? Try to describe it with words or colors.

  • Close your eyes for a minute—what images or thoughts come to mind?

  • What part of your day are you paying attention to most right now?

  • Write a sentence about your breathing or heartbeat in this moment.

  • What’s something simple that makes you feel calm or happy today?

  • Notice a small movement—your hand, foot, or stretch—and describe it.

  • Write one word that describes how you feel at this exact moment.
