The Beginning of Your Story — Journaling Before You Feel Ready
This is an early drawing of Ada — she’s not ready for her journey yet. Not quite.
She’s still standing at the beginning, in that moment just before things change. Before she knows what she’ll need to carry, and what she might have to leave behind.
Ada doesn’t begin brave. She begins unsure, thoughtful, and deeply feeling. Like many of us, she needs time to listen inward before she takes her first step.
Starting a journaling practice can feel the same. You do not have to be confident. You do not have to feel clear. Personal growth often begins in uncertainty. Emotional awareness begins with noticing.

What new chapter of your life feels like it might be beginning? Write about where you are standing right now.
What thoughts or emotions are asking for your attention today? Name them without trying to fix them.
What are you afraid might change? What part of you is ready for that change?
If you trusted your inner voice to make one decision this week, what would it be?
